For years, our public transport system has relied on luck and shouting destinations out of windows. It’s time for an upgrade.

I am thrilled to introduce Station, a new application designed to bridge the gap between passengers and drivers, bringing efficiency and transparency to our daily commute.
The goal is simple: Eliminate the guesswork.
How It Works
For Passengers: check-in & Chill
Station App turns every physical stop into a digital hub. When you arrive at a station:
1. Check In: Open the app and verify your location. We use geofencing technology to ensure you are physically at the station (within 100 meters), maintaining the integrity of the system.
2. Set Your Destination: Tell us where you’re going (e.g., Accra, Circle, Kasoa).
3. Get Visible: Your request is instantly logged. You’re no longer just a person standing by the road; you are a visible signal of demand.
For Drivers: Demand at a Glance
Drivers often rely on intuition to find passengers. Station changes that. With the app, drivers can see exactly:
- Which stations have passengers waiting.
- How many people are at each station.
- Where those passengers want to go.
This means drivers can plan their stops efficiently, fill their seats faster, and reduce the time spent idling or driving empty.
The Problem We Are Fixing
Transportation in our cities can be chaotic. The “Station” model—where vehicles load at fixed points—is efficient in theory but often disorganized in practice.
- Wasted Time: Passengers wait indefinitely.
- Inefficiency: Drivers miss potential passengers just around the corner.
- Lack of Data: No one really knows the flow of demand until they see it with their eyes.
Station App digitizes this flow. It creates a real-time handshake between the person who needs a ride and the person who has the seat.
The Road Ahead
We have been working hard on the core technology—perfecting the location verification, building the real-time notification systems, and ensuring the experience is seamless for both drivers and passengers.
We are currently in the final stages of development and testing. The plan is to go live in the next few months.
