Ghana is home to two Umbrella Rocks. We call them Umbrella Rocks because the rocks look like an umbrella – big rock top with space underneath enough to fit 10-15 people at a time. They usually look like the images below

The images above are two separate umbrella rock sites, sitting at about 12 km apart from each other. I thus came up with a hypothesis, and it’s has been bugging me for a while now. Hear me out!
Here are what we currently know for a fact:
- 2 known umbrella rocks in Ghana right now, of similar structure, size and form, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
- The two rocks are about 12 km apart (straight line)
- The rocks are of the same kind (no idea the exact rock type). I’m no expert on rocks, but they give vibes of a type of sedimentary rock.
I want to believe there are more, as they don’t look entirely natural, rather, man-made, likely centuries ago.
